We arrived at Arlanda airport safe and sound, but also tired and jet-lagged. We would have liked nothing better than sleep. Unfortunately, it was only 12:30 PM when Hans picked us up and there were still many hours to go before sunset.
After meeting Anette and Rasmus, our tourist activities began with a strenous hike (okay, a short walk) to Lake Mälaren and a walk along the shore. Mälaren is the third largest lake in Sweden and can be seen along the South edge of the map.
Apparently, there are also rednecks in Sweden. Overlooking the shore of Mälaren, we saw a site with evidence of a bonfire that also contained empty beer cans.
Our first view of Lake Mälaren.
We survived without falling asleep until (nearly) bedtime.
